Nissen Hut was invented and built as housing for troops in WW1, The Great War. Due to its semicircular, corrugated iron shape the Nissen Hut deflected shrapnel and bomb blast making it a perfect bomb proof shelter.
You have that Japanese groupset don't you Alan? Don't think you can enjoy the bombproof qualities of the Campag Khasmin but could get Fulcrum 7s, supposed to be a good winter/training wheel. Or as Dan says the Pearson's Ambrosio handbuilt option is good. I have them on my fixie and the ones I had when I first got a bike (as an adult) - the red Ambrosio - had them. My Dad is still using them about 5 years later.
