Beer Circus re-opens

Postby huw williams » Fri Mar 14, 2008 9:35 am

Well, not quite. It's called the 'Half 'n' Half' and is about as far removed from the original Circus as you can imagine.

The shutters came off yesterdy to reveal fancy wall-hangings, leather sofas, designer lighting, very classy.

Not sure when its open for business but I'll call in as soon as it does - purely for research purposes you understand :D

This doesn't mean they'll moan if you fall over and slop a bit of beer does it?

Hope it doesn't go all "Friends".

I have a vision of you with your nose and both hands pressed up to the glass - schoolboy-outside-toyshop style - as this happened :)

I was there last night

Excellent venue, genial host and much more sensible beer options

Much more comfortable

By 'sensible beer options' Huw means weaker beer so that people can drink more... but yes, the electic range of continental and local brews have pretty much gone. But if you're a wine drinker, it's much better news - there's a whole wine list!!
