Rode with him this morning, I assure you he wasn't dropped!! Don't think he likes the rain too much, took him ages to even convince himself to sign on!

Sounds like there was some good racing going on at the weekend. Dunsfold is quite a nice circuit - the sharp left at the bottom of the drag is fun in the wet! The drag used to be littered with potholes. I always seemed to lose water bottles there.

BTW - there's no shame at all in chosing to pack.... especially when the weather has taken a lot of the fun out of the race. In fact, determination to complete races come-what-may seems to be a bit of newcomers thing. If you need or want a bit more training - then fine - but otherwise there's little benefit carrying on in horrendous conditions. Sifting-around at the back of the bunch having a nonchalent chat with your cycling friends before rolling back to the HQ is actually a sign that you have become an uber-cool cyclist.
