[quote="Robh"]Reagrding the text book comment I didn't me you I was referring to University people who do the testing.

The guy I'm doing my stuff for is a lecturer not a student, and is a real doctor! But unfortunately I would Imagine he still reads the odd text book from time to time, having said that he might even write the odd one or two, I'm not sure. :wink:

Cool given your mass <60k's , no previous turbo experience and slight fatigue that was good. Don't forget MAP is your last minute in a ramped test so it will be different from an all out five minutes effort. Interesting what did they say about your 20minute TT 270ishwatt effort given they had predicted 310watts for FTP.

Ric sterns uses 72%-77% of the final 1min MAP figure to determin 1hr power.

72% of 360W = 259W
77% of 360W = 277W

[quote="Sean_BanciaoDad©"][quote="orv"][quote]aged 18-35.

bah. :(

Any testing options open to those er...over 41?
Yeah get used to that Sean :oops: :( Back when I was a young lad I regularly used to do phone surveys and place people into the following age bands similar to the following. I always thought the E's and F's were from a different planet. :shock:

A 16-21
B-21-25
C-25-30
D-31-40
E-40-49
F=50-65
G=65's and over

I would have thought that because you are doing one test so soon after another the results for the second test would be lower then expected anyway? I'm guessing the guy's trying to prove a point, I wonder what it is? Frankly, I'm going there next week and my plan is to kill myself on the ramp test. The result from the second Coggan format test won't mean much to me.

PS - Well done Slyv, thanks for posting your numbers.
