Don't panic - there's still plenty of beers on draught you wouldn't see in most UK pubs - its just that unlike Beer Circus they're not all strong enough to cause Vineyan Syndrome (ie several hours of your life dissapear unexplained :D )

There's quite a few imported Czech beers on draught as well as Leffe if you DO have your heart set on getting out of order. I tried a Budvar dark on draught (which I've never seen before) at only 4.6% it wouldn't have made it through the door of the Circus but it was fantastic

Manager Karel gave me a box of 6 of those lovelly china tankards left over after Graham's departure in exchange for some magazines - top man

[quote="marco"]Karel was the Czeck mtb xc racer riding on an international uci licence - have you had a chat with him about bikes yet?

are we definitely on for the 29th? Do people want me to confirm the booking for the whole of the downstairs?

Yeah we did - he doesn't find time to ride these days so we'll have to work on him to get him back on the bike.

Suggest you create a seperate 'social' thread for the 29th and link it to this to see who's up for it? We should certainly do one before the season starts in earnest
