yeah, 3 laps of that bad boy, first lap we did the road climb, 2nd and 3rd laps we did the techy singletrack climb...was awesome!!

came 35th out of 99 in the XC champs, 1st in me uni and 204th? in the downhill (only about a minute and a bit off the pace)

yeah defo the uplift days are amazing, get the full £25 one, and you can easily knock back 10-12 runs if you dont arse about. if you're feeling a bit poor, then you can pedal up the forest road to the crossing (when you come out of the "big dippers" and then there's that drop off the fire road) and just do the bottom section of the course. (ive never managed to do that drop off the fire road even though i've done much bigger drops-i hate roger liek that) but tbh they've built a roll in and a berm that shoots you across the roots there and I find that much faster than the drop IMO not worth it as the top section of the course where its at!!
oh and make sure you follow the black route through the woods (it forks off right) just after going through the first tunnel

the red routes at the top when you first drop in is more fun than the black route i think

i just used my enduro, plenty enough travel!! i've used flats ona few uplifts there before, but found the top section because its of the conssitency it is its vert grippy and ther4 like trail riding so i used spuds after that. only problem i find with them is that when it come to the bottom section spd's and air scare me sh1t and i keep getting horrendously bucked whereason flats i was hittign them fine

well for the drop off i used the rol in down the right....its probly new since you last did the DH course only been there a month...and obviously it being a roll in its doable by all and it leads you into a berm which shoots you across the track again

i got a 4.37 i think
