but it is all great. Just kind of debate I need to hear. Lots more on here since I last had time to look in. I am going to print it read through later on so apologies for a mass thanks. I will answer individual questions when I've processed it all.
Yesterday I did (on turbo trainer) 2 mins warm up at 85-95 cadence, then 5 x 2 min intervals keeping cadence above 100 and speed over 20mph with 2 min recoveries (cadence 85-95), 2 x 4 min intervals the same with 2 min recoveries and finishing with 5 min cool down (same as warm-up and recoveries).
Is that along the right kind of lines? I will increase interval length and resistence etc as I progress. I do 1 x 30 min hard session, 2 x 1 hour general ride with some hard in (e.g. a few hill repeats when I see a nice one) and a long ride at the weekend. I may add in a second 30 min hard session a week as I am feeling the current training load could be increased a bit, especially on the bike.
I have a hill block but I'm sure I am right in presuming this is only for the feel of a hill, it won't make any difference to the work-out?
I am definately keen to do some TTs as soon as I can get to one. Do I need full AAC kit or is just a jersey OK?
