My data from last year:

8 laps (Another lap would make it apporx 71m, but these races always tend to be slightly shorter than billed)

99.4km (62m) in 2:36:07
Av Speed 38.2km/h (I was dropped mid way through the final lap, so I guess the winner was a little faster)
Av HR 179bpm
795m of ascent

Max field size is 80 I think, may well get close to that after last weekends frustrations. Philip Gough (Portswood cycles) won last year.

You wimp, I have it down as 10 laps - a proper race for 2/3 cats

Whilst I would normally be happy to let you give them a war of attrition Paul, don't forget there is a social in the evening at the half n' half we need to get back for. Now I do like my cycling, but this is also about beer!

You may be right there Ivor, my polar file from last year has 12.3km roughly for each lap, 7.67miles.

Still, 77 miles is still more than long enough! I'll settle for 9 laps Paul, 70 miles... Thats what it should be!

Make them earn their glory Paul, 10 laps it should be, even if it means more time hanging around in the rain marshalling for me.
