well my computer arrived at work. as it was described as a "control panel" and didn't have any clue as to dimensions, so was rather surprised what it turned out to be the size and weight of a large CRT TV. 2 quid to buy, 15 quid for delivery and now about 25 quid to get the thing home in a cab. where i am going to put it, i have no idea. i don't think the mailroom guys were too impressed - they x-ray everything - and my colleagues think i am even more geeky than before.

let this be a warning to you all.
