Man with a van - Reading-London?

Postby adrian » Tue Apr 01, 2008 10:41 am

I need to have a smallish piece of furniture picked up in Reading and brought to our flat in Brixton (went there at the weekend to find it doesn't fit in our car :x ).

Can anyone recommend a cheap man-with-van type outfit, or someone who does that run regularly in the normal course of their work?

It's not from Reading, it just happens to be in Reading. I bought it on eBay. Was over that way last weekend anyway, so it all seemed so convenient.

Well that's blown up in your face.
This is what happens when you buy furniture from Reading.
There's an Ikea in Croydon you know :D

I'm not sure buying stuff from Ikea counts as shopping locally :?

Kind of depends where you live I guess, as if you were in Edinburgh, then no

In terms of the benefit to people in Croydon, you might just as well go to Ikea Edinburgh as Ikea Croydon

My furniture is 'organically modified'. i.e. Salem seems to think the carpenters left the woodwork unfinished and he's constantly performing quality control tests on the upholstery
