Not sure but given his cancer was '96 could he not still have required pills and been having injections in 98/99?

Mind you think most of them have played with Horses at some point

Not sure about that. It's easy for people to say things without proof, probably would need to read the book first. I'm always suspicious when articles quote 'insiders' and someone 'close to the team' as David Walsh's normally do.
The only thing involving LA that's p'ing me off at the moment is that all the cycling mags seem to have entered a 'Can we get a picture of Lance on every page' competition! I know he's good copy but Jeez there are other riders out there....and more interesting riders (though of course his is a great story).
Procycling this month, which I normally rate as the best cycling mag, has almost nothing but Lance/the Tour in it and then has a Tour supplement as well!
Even Cycling Weekly gives promenence to Lance's warm-up races over other competitions occuring at the same time.
What will they do when he's gone?
Sorry, rant over.

I've read the L'Express excerpts. 'Circumstantial' is the best adjective here, although the sources are a little more solid than the National Enquirer's 'friends' or 'sources' (enemies and hacks).

It's a smear. LA has a huge target on his back as he's the TdF patron with a Mr Clean image and is notably fallible in the relationship department. Open season for dickhead journos looking for instadosh.

I wouldn't give a 3p coin for that crap. Pulp it and use it to build the West Coast Mainline.

Of course, that my opinion. A bit of me wants #6, a bit of me Tyler or Iban's #1, and still more Jan's #2. I just want the race now! Why does it have to be in July?
