i can sum up this weeks chaingang in a simple equation-

31 miles
------------------
george + marcus = sore legs

very fast this week, and my legs were still feeling tired from the weekend. george and marcus were super strong, especially marcus. me and marcus managed to drop the others on the way back going over the hill before dropping down in to redhill (i had been sitting in a bit though, so i could stick with him up the hill). we decided to carry on going, agreeing to do 30 seconds then peel off.

i did one turn and had to sit in  . and still 3 times marcus rode me off his wheel

Really enjoyed this week. It was me, Stu, George, Marcus and another Paragon guy. Interestingly noting Stu's comments I didn't find the way out too bad, aided by a tailwind. On the way back it just seemed go get faster and faster. I like Stu had to sit in for some of the lumpy bits, no excuse, just not strong enough yet  Still got dropped up to Redhill. Collected George and the Paragon guy on the way down and we got going again until I turned off at Merstham.

Despite getting dropped felt really good which is encouraging as it shows extra rest really does work :D
