Racing License- Ive paid, but do I have to physically it?

Hi all. Ive just paid for a license from British Cycling. (went for gold)

Can I race before the license comes in the post?

Or do I have to wait it out. Apparantly there is a race in next Saturday in CHertsey that I would like to try.

If you signed up on the website then you should have got your member number by email, the "login/username" you get for the BC site is the same as your membership number.
