What's up with the club kit?

Postby Sylv » Sat Apr 05, 2008 5:06 pm

So Butlers have been waiting for ACC kit since last summer. They did get some but only in XL.

We get 5-10 new members a month how are they meant to get kitted in club colours?

I'm doing a national event next week and will probably have to ride incognito cos my current kit is falling apart ...

Toks if you are racing, you can borry a medium off me, since I swapped my small with Stu's medium.

I'd check out the sizes...try them on instead of going by the label.

I'm hardly huge (40" chest if I really breathe in hard) and I wear a short sleeve ACC shirt size XXL !!!!!!

extrapolate that down 40 = XXL, 38 = XL, 36 = L and so on, you'll probably find the shirt you think you want is really too small. so buy 'big'...you can always sit in a cold bath and shrink it to fit. :D

nope, the ss jersey I have is consistent with other brands - ie I got a medium (got it off someone who was leaving the club), but need a small really. unless they have changed supplier, mine's a good few years old.

It's a bit of a shambles really. Having gone down from XL to L I can no longer find a top to fit me. In fact, I've put my weight-loss problem on hold - just in time to coincide with the chocolate cake improvement at the cafe  .

Sylv

Bought mine last year. Sam, my son, also had to get a larger shirt. I think his is XL and he is usually an M. It has to be worth giving it a go and trying on a shirt or two rather than just looking at the label??? :?
