Very nice but hideously overpriced, it has old equipment on it.

The wheels should be Bora Ultras and the Record should be the new "ultra-torque and skeleton brake" spec to get close to that money.

As ever though, if you can sneak it under your coat....

So it's an old bike with old equipment on it for £6.5k.
I don't know how these people get away with it just because of a limited edition set of graphics etc.

Very nice bike, I like the look of those Giants, but I'd rather have one of the new ones with the current spec of the same kit, and probably have a few quid left over for some spare "training" wheels. :D All academic really as it's not as though I've got six grand.

They could have got a black rubber band, and correct me if I am wrong but it looks to have plastic, not carbon bottle cages, for 6.5k you think you would get record bottle cages.

Not plastic Marek, they are pressed alu Tacx Tao cages.

In my opnion, the bet in the business. I've been using them for years and never had a bottle fall out. Not even on the flandrian cobbles last Saturday. And believe me, I saw quite a few go astray. Even had to run one down!

When they build an ultimate bike Adam they go to Campagnolo  .

Not a chance, it's far too new to be retro, now if it was a Hetchins with curly stays  . I like a bit of modern-retro too, 80s and early nineties TT stuff mainly with down sloping curved top tubes and unusual bars. For a bit or road modern-retro anyone remember these...The Scott Drop-in bars which I think Lemond rode in one of his Tours - similar vintage to your shades aren't they Marco?

I want to re-build up the old Holdsworth fixie at some point as a bit of a retro "Sunday treat" to myself with a pair of Moscow track bars.

Unusual handlebars anyone...

[quote]Special handlebars were developed, from 1983 to 1985,
not only for time trials, but also for massed start track events.
These were made in 1984, the following year officials banned them from group racing.

Who fancies doing a madison on those?
