There are some that work, including swapping the cable clamp to the underside of the clamp, but I can't remember which way that goes now.

I wonder why the folk I employed to turn my old 9 spd road bike into a 10 spd TT bike didn't spot that then . Cheers Guru Paul (will be in touch about the 10 spd mech) et al. Hope I've at least provided soe warped amusement.
