[quote="marco"]Im assuming thats watered down Coors light they are talking about rather than a pint of London Pride, so we'd better let Ivor work out the mathematics to how much real beer that equates to!

Depends whether you're looking at London Pride from a pump or a bottle....

Coors Light is 4.5% ABV... London Pride is 4.1% ABV in the pub although 4.7% in a bottle.

soooo... to get the equivalent alcohol you'd need 14.2 pints of Pride at the bar or drink 14 500ml bottles.

Of course you could do your weight in lbs x 2...

So for me, 158x2 = 316.

Which is approx what I was doing weekly up to Feb. (give or take 50 miles)

Reckon I maintained at least 6 pints per week too in that time, and it seems to have served me ok...

So to summarise, double the mileage, half the alcohol... hey presto :P
