Next Saturday there is nothing on interest on the road race schedule so wondered if anyone fancied a long hilly ride at a reasonably pace. Not ballistic but not slow, I need to start getting some decent hills into the legs in preparation for the Marmotte. Am happy to do steady on the flats and hard on the hills therefore allowing re-groups.
The route will be something like over to Dorking for Coldharbour and a couple of other nice little hills, then at some point try to head back over towards Leigh and then Rusper then I will work a route which takes us over to Handcross type area then over to Turners Hill and then down to Ardingly then Sharpthorne, Weirwood Reservoir, The Wall, Edenbridge, Westerham, Purley.
Have a feeling that this route may be a bit long, but should be fun. Bring a couple of bottles, some small change for the one or two cafe stops and some spare food for me to pinch off you once I die on the hills.
Leave CSS normal club run time.
Cheers
Marek....
