I'd recommend this race. It's a nice rolling 7 mile circuit that we do 6 times. The event is well organised and the Kingston Phoenix girls that organise it are very friendly.

There's a range of categories that take part, though there are probably more 2nd/3rd cat riders than any other categories. Last year there was a biggish field as it was also the Central women's RR champs.
Worth doing if you want to get experience of racing on the open road without it having to be a national level race where the environment can be a little intimidating.
