The ski slope course has been changed due to roadworks so I've told them to tear up my entry, was only doing it for the course as it's not a convenient day for me to get up at the crack of dawn.

I'll join you for this now Snoop and give you a hand pushing off if you like. You can do Ian though

woooaaahhh - steady on folks or else I'll get accused of actually organising summat. Great to see that a few folk want to turn out for this - and hey guess what - we don't need no marshals

Deliverance eh.....just mebbe I'll bring along me banjo geetar 8)

I think what we'll do then is go for the G10/57 in preference to the Holmwood course. Despite a few more roundabouts I think the G10/57 is much better  . Personally I would prefer a slightly earlier start from CSS (could we manage 08.30??) and that way we can get down there (maybe do a version of  reverse o route to ad to the variety factor) do the TT practice (set off @ 30 sec intervals  ) and then get back to the caff for a drink and some tales of what might've been eh wot???

Soopah!

Wot, no ski slope???

I guess I could sort of unofficially do the timekeeping thingy.....of course one must remember, it is not a race, just individuals riding up and down for enjoyment

I had a call from the organiser of the Catford 10 saying that due to roadworks they were having to move the course. I'd only just got in from work so have to say I didn't take in everything he said  , but John called later and said that the guy had confirmed to him that the course being used instead is a bit sporting. Also said the roadworks are due to go on through May so the DeLaune event would also be moved to the same course (Catford man had spoken to DeLaune chappie).

Catford chappie said he was calling everyone. Feel sorry for them as I expect a lot of entries will drop out now, I'd have still done it but it was never a convenient day for me I was just going for the course, so I've had to drop out.

Could do 8:30 Snoop.

Boiiiinngggg

I'm not out this weekend so at CSS could some kind soul mention that this is on the agenda for Saturday May 10th. I may not ride out there as I have the NP 25 the following day but we'll still go ahead.

I'm wondering if the simplest thing to do is suggest that all those who want ot have a go should form a sensible speed group and head out there together..? I think it would work better if everyone is @ the "start" (ahem) at the same kind of time. If we set folk off @ 3o sec intervals we won't be hanging about for long at all.

Any thoughts/suggestions on this point v welcome

Cheers - Snoop

hmm if you're setting off from css at 8.30 to get down to broadbridge... on a saturday morning... isn't the road going to be a bit busy for a TT by the time you get there??

Just giving you a quick bounce Snoop   .
I take it this is still on for Saturday? I'm doing the NP 25 too but will ride out to this and can show people the way if you're going to take the coward's way and drive there  . It'll only be a gentle ride out though to loosen legs and use as a bit of a warm up.

Is it defo 8:30 depart from CSS? Makes sense.
