I always repair tubes. I bin them after they've a few patches.
I don't tend to use the "glueless" patches like Super Patch or Flat Boy as the glue tends to fail in summer. I do carry a couple of these in my tool-kit though to get me out of trouble if I've not got a spare tube.
There is one exception. Never use repaired tubes if riding in the mountains. Why? I had a the glue of a repaired tube (not a "glueless" repair) fail on the descent from Col du Glandon in the Alps, giving a front wheel blow-out. Kinda scary, especially as it was just after the memorial stone for a Dutch guy who'd previously gone off the road.
