How about chicken phall, beef stew and dumplings or jelly and ice cream.

If its "newbie friendly" then i might tag along...

Doesnt have to be slow (i like to think i am quite fit) but bare with me, as i have only ever cycled alone!

[quote="sonic909"]..... but bare with me ......

It's not that sort of Club. There would be far too much chafing with no padded shorts.

All our rides are newbie friendly, usually on these get togethers the pace is reasonable, average between 17 and 18 mph, free for all on the climbs then regrouping at the top.

So anyone else interested then?

Bad news folks I'm back.

Just spoken to Jon and we're going out tomorrow, so if you want an alternative to Brighton....

Meet at GBs at 9:30

Reasonable but steady pace, won't be racing off so stronger 17s/18s riders should be fine so long as they can cope with a non-flat route and not having a coffee after 30miles :D .

About 55ish miles with a few lumps on the way round, nothing too big or long but not a flat route.
Roughly Westerham, Pilgrims Way, Polhill, Downe, Biggin Hill, Tatsfield, and then back (different options from here depending what's preferred - straight back, few more miles, hill). No definite cafe stop but may stop at Tatsfield if wanted for a cuppa in the sun.

Will wait for 5mins or so at GBs before leaving but will be leaving fairly punctually.

Cheers,

Andrew.
