With you on this Sean, Ken did a lot of good things (some not) but time for a change needed.

One policy that would have secured my vote would have been if the prospective mayor had proposed to re-introduce some of the historic London landmarks back in to full and proper use. These are tourist attractions at the moment and they could stay that way too. I mean the Tower of London or London Dungeon would be much more interesting if you could gawp at real criminals whilst they were imprisoned / being tortured. Keeping someone in jail costs a fortune - at least as much as Mr / Mrs Average earn in a year. Surely that would be better spent on people who really deserve / need it in society. Prisons are overcrowded too - so rather than take the soft option and let the baddies out early, why not take more direct measures to address the excessive prison population? I think all the candidates missed a sure-fire vote-winner there.... Maybe I should stand next time?
