2008 Membership cards

Postby huw williams » Wed May 07, 2008 9:43 am

These are now ready and will be available for collection this saturday at the Pine Cafe club run tea stop

All fully paid-up members will get one and they are essential to have in your wallett for visits to Geoffrey Butlers as they entitle the bearer to free bikes, wheels, tyres kit and servicing for the duration of your membership... hang on I've just mis-read the small print there - you're actually entitled to 10% discount of those things (most lines applicable, see in store for details)

They also have an ICE space (In Case of Emegency) and we reccomend you fill it in with a contact number in case you have an accident when riding alone. This happened to Jim B recently who hit is head and didn't know who/where he was or what the hell he was doing riding a bike in the first place  So in cases of short-term memory loss the membership card containing all your details is an instanyt and comforting assurance that you're NOT a Paragon member.

There might be the odd omission form the list (and certainly spelling mistakes amongst those with unpronouncable names), so if for any reason you think you should have one but you're not on the list, let myself or Phil Nash know via email or pm and we'll sort it

On collection you might want to have a small plastic sealable bag with you so it doesn't fall apart in your sweaty pocket on the ride home

I thank you

H
