Hog Hill Update

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Hog Hill Update

Postby mrP(Boonen)VT » Thu May 08, 2008 8:59 am

Ho hum.....

[quote]Hog Hill is nearly ready but there's major issues with
proposed hire tariff
there isn't intended to be any club catering opportunity as it's all provided by the operator.
All likely promoters or club hirers can apply by reply to see the hire tariff being proposed. You will then be invited to supply comment to the operator as it has requested, though it did listen when being told a few things in a meeting held last night...
Legacy is getting closer to being finalised to users and then planning applications will be made. ODA is proposing a meeting to those few who were in on the 'workshops' of last Oct-Nov-Dec.
Parliamentary Select Committee report on Olympic legacy namechecks us and our issues.

There will be an announcement of date of AGM in the near future (we're waiting on something like a clubhouse where we can meet...!)

Hog Hill will open officially on 24th May. This will be the upper road circuit and some limited off-road (depending on what the contractor's been able to approve as ready)
Shan't be there meself owing to race commitments - ah the irony!
Full circuit opens sometme in August.
First major event will be the London Criterium Championships for Seniors, Juniors, Women and all Youth categories on 6 September. I'm organising this for the LVYCC. All offers of help gratefully received.
