In fact quite the opposite - next saturday I need to be back early so will probably ride with 19s but peel off at partridge with a brief stop at the cafe and then home. Any company would be welcome for the return trip

yes, i've been doing the Legs of Steel last couple of weeks to prep for HHH...which is prep for Dragon...which is prep for etape, so a change of scenery might be nice.

Groovy....

Should be good. Weather looks to be gorgeous.. I have found the route sheets on the forum. Dombo - Is the legs of steel the same route ??

Any other takers..It will not be massively fast along the flats (i.e. 17 / 18 ave), but I expect to be having a go at the hills, well the first one anyway. PS - I expect to be near the back up the hills..

I wouldn't mind meeting up a little earlier than usual to make the most of the time. How do you feel about meeting at 08.30 at CSS...

Ta,

Graham.....

Not sure, I followed a mate. From home I went up Star Lane, down a one way street to Chipstead Valley Road, crossed A217 at r'bout, then main road to Headley and Box Hill, where I met him. Dropped down Zig Zag Road to A24, cross that and up past Westhumble, climb to Ranmore, hang a left and drop down into Dorking, then climb to Leith Hill. After that I'm lost but tend to know where to go at each junction. I know we climbed a 20% horror near Cranleigh (needed the granny for that one) and 18% Combe Lane towards the end, then back to BH and home. Would have been 70 miles without the SAR beacon going off.

This is the route...

http://www.aqvm78.dsl.pipex.com/SWLDA/O ... illy50.htm

it goes from bottom of box hill, up ranmore, then down into dorking, then up coldharbour and turns right back down to the A25. I thnk its pretty similar to the legs of steel !!

Will see you at CSS at 8:30 but not for a hilly 50. I'm helping Snoop with his intro/test 10 TT and also have a 25 on Sunday.

I might be up for this. I even fancy my chances at remembering the route.

I may need to be home at a sensible hour, though, so reserve the right to bail out early doors.

And thanks for reminding me that I'm doing HHH as well!
