SERRL 11 May Lamberhurst

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

That right Marek?
Yep he rides for Finchley RT now. I think Phil got fed up with shouldering most of the organisational responsibility at Mosquitos. So its official, all the ex ACC riders have now left the Mozzies

From advice received i shouldn't really cycle all the way there so if no lifts available my travel options are limited to the train. I can get a train from:

East Croydon -> Tonbridge 07:51 -> 08:40 and then cycle to the Race, about 7.6 miles (take about 30min as don't know the route) arrive at race at 09:10

London Bridge -> Tunbridge Wells 08:18 -> 09:04 and then cycle to the race, about 3 miles (takes about 12min as don't know the route) arrive at race at 09:16

These are the earliest trains I can get on a Sunday so do I need to be at race HQ a certain amount of time prior to start, i.e. is 15min prior to start ok for signing on?

a map of the course, just over 20km long, so about 5 laps?

Is that course correct? I see it goes through some villages, potential traffic / road furniture problems?

maybe a few spectators?
