I used to work within water-squirting distance of him when he was at the Spec, and would regularly see him riding back to the office for a bit of extra- curricular after 'a particularly good lunch'. He'd be wobbling all over the road in the dark with no lights, slaloming between pedestrians and generally appearing to be free from the constraints imposed by 'the nanny state' (ie doing whatever he pleased). What a c-c-character.

Thanks again, London

Like quite a lot of commuters then, same with the red lights

Sunny skies and the commute is again a game of dodge the looney (not you Ant  ) as they wrestle their way past you at some lights so they can jump them.

Indeed. actually my pet hate is the ones that squeeze through only to get out onto the edge of the road past the lights they can no longer see and then sit out there waiting for the traffic.... and now they can't see the lights change and so you have to get around them when the lights do change cos they've got no idea and cant work out whether the car going past went through on amber or red or whether the car approaching is likely to stop or speed up.
