Wow, that was a buzz.
Cycling home this evening down the A217, an ambulance pulled out from a turning in front of me at the perfect moment for me to jump in behind it. The cars in front of it disappeared and no cars were behind me, so I made the most of the opportunity . I kept to the left to see what was ahead - all clear. We were doing 30mph and it was easy. Then the ambulance accelerated so I moved to the middle and 'CRIKEY', it was as if someone had strapped an engine to my back wheel I got sucked along at 35 - 40 mph for over a mile, Fantastic .
Now children, don't try this at home, as it very danderous . But hey, it's a whole lot of fun , and anyway if you're going to crash in to a vehicle, you couldn't choose better than an ambulance
That was proper shadowing
