Hey guys, with all the new TT bikes turning up recently are we going to get one or two teams together for the Surrey League 4 up. I wouldn't mind having a go if a few others are game.

I've fancied doing this ever since riding out to watch others suffer and turn funny colours on it, but it's the week before the Dragon so I'll be doing my Grimpeur's thingy.

Not wanting to be a wet blanket but this is a Surrey League event rather than a CTT event. Doesn't at least one member of the team have to be a SL member (i.e. bought a SL licence) and if you're not you pay an extra fiver on the race fee. Also wouldn't you need a BC race licence or have to get a day licence as it's run under BC regs not CTT? I could be very wrong here (hope so) but otherwise if you don't have a race licence then it'll cost a fair bit of money for the one TT. £12 SL race fee or £17 if not a SL member, plus £10 for the day licence - I hope I've got the numbers wrong, can someone clarify the costs please otherwise for a TT-er without a BC race licence it could be a £27 event. Like I say, I hope I'm wrong.

'twas 2 laps of a Surrey League circuit Snoop, not sure of length but probably 25-30miles total distance at a guess.

Oh and it's a bit lumpy and laney, think of it as a sporting course.

One more thing, George is it ok if we all just sit behind you the whole way, think Stu and I are going to suffer if Paul and George both rock up on their new Planet X TT machines.
