Farnham RC Evening Open 10

I made the mistake of riding the Farnham evening 10 on Tuesday. The sunny dry conditions were deceiving as it was even colder and windier than Saturday's event. I managed to struggle round in 24:03 but the eventual winner, Tony Gibb, caught me for three minutes halfway back on the return leg to record an awsome 19:51. I can't remember anyone going past me so quickly - he was out of sight in a couple of minutes, and clearly a rider to look out for.

Well done. Sounds like the fast moving TG must've created quite a draught when he ripped by (no fart jokes please ) a 19.51 is awesome.

Well done Steve. You might be right, Mr. Gibb might turn out to be a reasonable racer once he's got a bit of experience.
