My right hand shifter finally succumbed to years of poor maintenance and fell apart on Tuesday night....and I'm off to do the Tour of Wessex on Friday night so was in a bit of a fix. I popped into the Evans near my work and was told that it's no longer possible to get a 105 9spd shifter. I'd either need to upgrade to 10spd or get Tiagra. And they had neither in stock anyway so I should try their branch on The Cut, or Condor or Brixton Cycles.
I didn't have time to fanny around with all that so started googling and came across http://www.sprockets.uk.com/.
I phoned to check they had a 9spd 105 right hand shifter and explained I needed it by today. I also ordered a chain and cassette. Everything arrived this morning as promised with a note to say they'd upgraded the 105 chain to dura ace at no extra cost because they didn't have a 105 in stock.
I emailed to say how impressed I was with their service and was told that if there's anything I want that's not on the website to just phone them and they'll see if they can get it.
I think good service should be recognised which is I'm recommending them to you.
