Ride to Amberley (also for us slower mortals

Postby Amy » Mon May 26, 2008 7:59 pm

Anyone up for a slow and steady ride (15/16mph) to Amberley? It would be an all day ride with lunch at the tea rooms by the River Arun (and next to Amberley station).

It's based on the SWRC May Flyer route which we pick up at Gomshall after meeting at Coulsdon for 9am and climbing up Headley and Ranmore - again once I've wrestled with Mapmyride I'll stick up a link. Does anyone have a preference for which day? Which weekend and whether Saturday or Sunday.

Hi Amy,

I like the sound of this one! I prefer a Saturday probably not for the next two weeks, I'll check the diary!

Phil.

Oh my god that's more than Brighton.

But I do love your rides Amy, so put me down for that. I'll apply for an all day pass

I can only do Sat 14th or Sun 15th

Sorry, I'm away that weekend. No rush as I need to get some of my other longer rides in and get fitter  Plan to do one this Saturday. See the other post wherever it's got to.
