Doing a Marek!

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Doing a Marek!

It always looks crazy when you see guys do this but it can pay off. Last year the Mozzies had Jason Pidd riding off the front and winning solo this year its John Heaton Armstrong. Its all in your favourite racing blog

Yes, spoke to him yesterday... must be noted to anyone who is going to try this, that John is a very strong rider! He has been placing in 2nd cat and Elite races all year. And subseqently now has his 2nd cat license. But, yeah, give it a go... if you think you're hard enough

Didn't you tell John it's tongue-out and not V-finger and thumb-up signs Toks?

Oh and nice double-decker overtaking - classic photo - shame you can't quite see he has a race number on

Yes we had noticed that John (like another John who I heard last night is back) doesn't seem to mind riding at the front for loooong periods of time ...

That's a cool result for Jonny H-A. He seems super keen and motivated at the moment and lives a bit further out in the sticks than us Croydonites. I think he manages to get some decent rides round the lanes before / after work reasonably often. There ain't really no substitute for miles on the bike if you want to dominate a race in that manner.

Did anyone check-out the photos? Those socks have to go, mind!
