South Eastern RC 25TT Sun 1st June G25/53

5 Agreeables out this morning, back on our favourite 25 course?

It was raining as me and tamar where driving down to the start and it was looking pretty miserable.
It felt warm though and the rain stopped as I started.

Just kept a high cadence today and felt more on top of my ride than yesterdays 10, legs felt good, climbed a bit out of saddle but not into the red on the drags.

Didn’t even look at my time and speed, just went on feel and it felt Good.
The final turn and the wind was being kind, No 70 passed me for 4mins but helped to keep me focused on the final rise, and sprinted to the line.

Looked at watch and YES I DID IT, UNDER THE HOUR 59.43!!

Been a great TT weekend. Two goals this year was to get under the hour and to do a 22 with my existing machine. Well Chuffed!

Carol 1.11.04 PB
Robert R.E DNS. More bad luck with car puncture
Mike 1.4. 39
Tamar DNF, mechanical and back problems.

Dave Palmer 1.1.51
Steve Hehir 1.3.23

L Harding won with 51.48

Congratulations Mark - I knew you could do it  . That's brilliant you are a beacon to all those who sit and wonder about getting the technology right. The bicycle manufacturing industry hates you!

Many congrats to Carole - that's a good 'un and must make up for the disappointment of missing a PB yesterday by only 2 sec.

Mike - I don't know how close to a PB your time is - but I'd certainly be chuffed with it.

Commiserations to t'others.

Well done again to Mark :D :D :D and Carole :D :D

Actually missed the PB by 1 second :( :( :( What a BIG bugger!!! Pleased with todays 25 although felt could have done better if it wasn't for saddle soreness in the womans regions!!!!!   Tamar put it down to 3 kids to many - she aint wrong on that score - I say that every day.

Well done everyone. Some good times there.

Fantastic Mark, I`d knew you would do it if you wanted it. You didn`t even need my bike.

Excellent news, quality stuff Mark. Well done Carole, I thought you'd do a good ride today after the 10. When I've done two in a weekend the 2nd one always seems to be a goodun after the 10 has got the legs and heart going the day before.

Well done folks.
