Dragon ride non runner

Postby EdO » Fri Jun 06, 2008 9:41 pm

My entry for the Dragon Ride arrived in the post yesterday morning.

I sat at the table just staring at the brown envelope after putting the contents back in it. I won't be able to make it as I've been forced to go to the Isle of Wight festival. :(

So I've missed the opportunity to ride a truly great sportive for what? The b***** Keiser Cheifs. I predict a riot.

If anyone wants to take my place then PM me.

I won't be going either. Opening my entry pack, I sighed heavily several times but baby Albert didn't show much sign of guilt.

I don't think they're that keen on people riding under an assumed identity, but if anyone does want to ride as me, PM me.

Just looked at their site and I think that it is too late to do a transfer officially. I think you can enter on the line which is what I am hoping to do on the day. Lets hope the weather holds up hey.

Cheers

Yeah, it is too late, and they charge you to do it anyway (like, what's my motivation?). This, added to the fact that they take entries on the day, is why I didn't offer my place to anyone sooner. Even so, if anyone thinking of entering on the day wants to take my pack as a backup, let me know.
