I did enjoy that last night, I must say. It takes a long to get me jumping around all over the place these days (especially when I've just got the baby to sleep) but when the second and third goals went in...

Not since '74 & '78, etc, etc.

:) :) :)

Oranjeboum and Edam round at Adrian's last night then! And some lazy national stereotyping for the rest of us. Hooray!

I don't follow BB, but did watch the launch night. It's so easy to be condescending and judgmental about the contestants. So, here goes. I'm sure Davina told us that Mario (not his real name, never even been to Italy) pawned his Rolex to buy Lisa's new boobs  . Now that's class!

Thought Greece were disgraceful last night. Delighted to see Sweden turn them over.

And I hear that that Croydon's own Alex has become embroiled in a bullying incident. Mind you, I've only seen about ten seconds of the whole thing - by accident, naturally - and I feel like bullying the lot of 'em :x

And I should hope it was an accident too. Snap out of it man, a few sleepless nights and nappies and look what's happening to that fine brain of yours. You'll be watching daytime tele next.

If there is some talentless Croydonian cretin in there involved in a fight you can bet they'll have a knife or broken "breezer" bottle to hand.

Don't worry, Andrew - it happened as I switched on the telly to watch a Finnish arthouse film. Even so, to be on the safe side, I had one of those decontamination conveyer-belt showers first seen in Dr No and was given the intellectual, moral and spiritual all-clear. Close-run thing, though - another five seconds' exposure, and I might have been jumping up and down continuously, whooping for no apparent reason and referring to myself in the third person as 'The Adester', or similar.

Oh, they're killing each other now? That's different. When's the DVD box set out? :P

As a matter of fact it was. The Man Without A Past, or Mies Vailla Menneisyyttä, as you probably know it
