Any ideas on when you guys are going out on your next MTB ride around Leith Hill at all? I'm not around this weekend, but would be keen to meet up with lot soon!

Don't know about any of the others but I'm tied up quite a lot of Sunday's with TTs so have to sort of play it by ear - late decision depending on what I've done on the Saturday and piggy-back something already arranged. If I've only done a short TT on the Saturday I often like to get out on the road for a few miles on Sunday.

I don't know any trails so I'd just be bumbling about trying to trip over something anyway, which is why I'm at the piggy-backing rides stage with the MTB and others who know where they're going.

Sorry not much help  .

How about an easy ride from East Croydon, maybe heading west this time along the Wandle trail, Surrey OaksPark, Epsom Common then decision point either on to Box Hill or direct to Reigate Hill for tea and back through the infamous north downs way field climb and happy valley to Coulsdon.

Thinking about it, easy means technically easy but reasonable distance, exepct 3-3.5hrs for Reigate Hill loop or 4 for Box Hill.

I'll drop by East Croydon at 10am anyway to see if there's anyone there.

Cracking route Mr Higg! Thabks very much for turning up.

Off road to Boxhill and back along N Downs Way to Reigate Hill.
If you planned to come along but stayed at home instead then kick yourself and get along to the next one!!.
