Be fair Huw, they didn't all start at 6:00am, some didn't leave til 10:00am

well, I went for a spin to box hill yeterday and my path crossed that of the L-B ride around 10:30am, I would guess if you were one of the later starts you would have needed about 3 hours just to get past the M25 due to the crowds, regardless of fitness levels.
