Does anyone work in Strand, because I believe that is where I am doing my two-week work experience with a barrister.
Just out of interest...

Mo,

I have an office just off the Strand where I am from time to time. A great place to work, lots of good coffee shops 8) , shops in general, big Oakley shop in Covent Garden (was in there today) 8) , plenty of stuff to do in the evening 8) , pretty much in the centre of things there and lots of things to see     .

You will love it (can't vouch for the job though)

Judging by the first day; work experience is awesome. I get to do real work and stuff, already dealt with law issues/cases today by myself, and the books available are pretty interesting.

I don't what some of you lot are on about, this work lark is well fun!!!!

Probably does. But 2 weeks is short enough to keep it entertaining. I even get my own office!

Mo, even at the ripe old age of 21 I can assure you that you will likely grow to want to find ways to avoid work altogether soon enough... university for a start!

What he doesn't tell you is the extortionate rent they're charging him for it

Standard open plan for me, thankfully never been a gopher Jon.

Was on secondment for a few months until recently and was sharing a nice office then, overlooked some nice gardens and ruins of a church.
