hope hes ok, and hope his names spelt correctly!

final lap, on the final stretch, everyone sprinting for a good quater mile into a head wind, some guy decided to look behind himself, and whlst doing so he couldnt hold a straight line.edged to the right hit a guy, fell off, and richard was right behind him so had no choice but to go down.
he was looking to "with it" at first, but after 10 minutes or so he came around laughing and smiling( he hadnt realised that he had snapped his fork yet!!)
impressive crash with no major injuries!
get well soon

I stayed with Richard in the Hospital. Took them three hours or so to give him some pain killers. Suppose you are less of an emergency when you have inflicted the pain on yourself.....

May have a fractured rib, lots of bruises and a bit of a fat knuckle.

I think he was more worried about me driving his car home than he was about his injuries. Give him a couple of weeks and I reckon he will be back on the go again with some encouragement.

Get well soon Richard.

Cheers

Marek....
