SERRL edenbridge 29/06

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Also who is Frederick Schwarz, Cat 3 for Addiscombe CC?

Fred is a good guy, pretty savvy racer, stick with him and you'll do fine.

Cheers

Dan,

Train from London Victoria

Depart Victoria 07:32
(calling at Clapham Junction 07:38)
(calling at East Croydon 07:51)
Arrive Redhill 08:03
Depart Redhill 08:10
Arrive Edenbridge 08:25

I will probably get the train from EC as it allows me the longest time in bed. Oh, it is 14 miles from Redhill to Edenbridge so if miss train at Redhill could cycle the rest of the way.

I was thinking to cycle down but I guess it is about 20 miles, another train option going via Oxted, 7:43 at East Croy, or I could drive and fit 3 plus 3 bikes if necessary. I will have a think.

I do not have access to the car on Sunday so I will get the 7:43 from East Croydon to Hurst Green 8:06 and then ride the 4 or 5 miles over to the start. (I am going to get a cheap day return in case I don't feel like riding home afterwards)

May see you at the station

I might do that as well, it's always awkward changing platforms and trains in cycling shoes with a bike.
