Road Race

One of my goals for this year is to do a Road Race, I haven't done one yet this year, in fact I've never done one before, so would like to do a 4/W/J or 4 only race does anyone know of a suitable event either next weekend (18/19th) or in October (25/26th Sept booked)

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Huw,

If you want to do a closed circuit then you could do either Chertsey MOD on the 2nd October 10.00am or Goodwood on the 17th October, not sure of the time.

If you want to do a proper road race, these tend to be 3/4, there are a few coming up e.g. Alfold, Rusper and Cutmil. Check the british cycling website calendar.

I am not sure about licence but you may be able to get a day licence. You could probably check this out on the british cycling site as well.

I've been taking her to school on a very similar seat, I did the Sevenoaks Triathlon yesterday (I thought you might have been there?), and all Saturday evening she kept asking if she could go in the seat for my race, I said that it wouldn't be allowed by the rules so she just watched instead !
