Thanks to all for a great evening, with a turnout bigger than most club runs.

It was really rather satisfying to haul Carole round some 2 minutes quicker than her pb; but not as satisfying as making her realise that it's supposed to hurt .

During each of my few TTs in past 3 years, I've sworn it's the last (usually on every rise in the road). But the feeling at the finish (and during the final mile!) is so good that I'll probably be back ... Being 4 secs inside 'evens' helped a lot! Great thanks to Andrew for peerless pacing (on top of his other work), and the other helpers, especially Tim - don't worry about the later start Tim, same distance-course-suffering!

This was my second TT ever, the first being a solo at the Addiscombe 10 two weeks ago, and by some amazing coincidence got the exact same timing.
