ECCA 100 - 6 July

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

ECCA 100 - 6 July

3 Agreeables in this one-

5 George Brent
44 Jon Hemming
59 Paul Tunnell

George (the ringer) Brent has a whopping 64:11 handicap ( more than Jon 55:34 or myself 58:04). With a few doddery riders in front, he's going to have a lonely ride.

fastest on paper is Nik Bowdler with 7:21 handicap

Yeah but they don't know that George's only 100 time includes an 8 mile detour, 4 of them on a flat tub, and a wheel change :D .

Isn't it an x number of laps course?

George, Jon, Paul...
we really need to recruit someone called Ringo.

2nd lap starts at 52 miles in, so as there's only 90 riders in the field George will be on his own after he's shot past number 1,2,3 & 4.

Jon/George
If you want anything handed up, Mrs T will be at 4Wentways on the return legs at 52 miles and 89 miles.

Please remember that you'll have to slow right down to take anything as she won't be doing 100m sprints to keep up with you.
