My intrepid reporter who was sent north to cover the Dave Lloyd mega challenge has just returned (barely alive)

220km and 5,000 metres of climbing

That's the same climbing as the Marmotte and 40km longer - and it rained... and it was windy
Only 171 riders entered - which meant that it was pretty much ride around on your own all day

Anyone fancy doing it next year?
