Bec 10 Anyone?

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Bec 10 Anyone?

Keith n Tamar have smooth talked me into revisiting a 10 course I really don't like :( . I'm a glutton for punishment. I still associate this place with wearing a dress

Anyone else fancy a go - G10/42 at 2pm on July 12th. You'll need to get a shift on with your entry forms. Great chance for all folk who up until now have done the club 10s. You know the course, step up and get a time in an open event. Go on - you know you want to

Nothing like a bit of the Ol Blarney, dropped mine in last night on my way home and signed up to do a 50 on the Bentley course the day after.

I very rarely ride open events at Holmwood, because I don't like the course.

But after Keith collared us after the SCCU 50 on Sunday I was overcome with guilt, and in a moment of madness filled in an entry form which was given to Tamar last night.

I'm doing a 50 the day afterwards too - Southend Wheelers.

Same boat as you  here's hoping for a good one - that'd be a first on the good ole G10/42

Sounds like there will be quite a gathering. I have just dropped my entry off for this. My first ever Open 10  Also entered the Bec's 25 on 20/07.

Me neither, and even Mr Coffey's text bombardment didn't persuade me otherwise.

Deary me Paul  . How can you ride 100s, a 12hr, and not do a friend's 10 because you don't like the course.

I don't actually mind the course that much, the drags and lumps make it a bit interesting. I don't think it's that slow either. Perhaps compared to some real quick courses, but the top placed riders all still do very quick times on it, and even for a relative sloth like myself it's not been that much different to the more heralded G10/57.
