Just like to say a huge thanks to Tim C for leading the 15s group - top job
Plus I'd like to add to the thanks for the addtional support given by Amy & Steve on the way back - much appreciated plus a huge congrats to all for getting there and back - special mention to Bob for soldiering on right to the end!
Crackin' day out (my first trip to Brighton and with coming back managed 92.5 miles for the day which is by far away the most I've cycled in a day - only did my first 50 miler the other week on my 3d CR or so
). The run down and going over Ditchling was an experience
and chuffed not to get completely dropped on the way up.....mind you think I need to practice the descending thang (into Brighton) so not to be tailend charly!
Lovely spot to refuel and surely we created another new world record for the longest queue (in cycling jerseys).....where's Norris McWerter and Record Breakers when you need them plus it was so windy on our table we had to create an echelon just to eat!
Anyhow be well up for another jaunt - see you all on Sat for the CR (bumped into Marky Mark in GBs and he's chomping at the bit to get back on) and then let's keep fingers crossed for a Brit winner in Stage 1 of TDF (better start the Harmon Balls thread asap)
