Hello
Thinking of buying the tacx T1680 turbo trainer
Has anyone got one?,if so any good,how accurate is the power reading etc?

Hi Carl,

I have that turbo and the readings are very consistent. I haven't used any other power measurement devices (powertap, srm etc) so don't know how accurate the absolute values are. It's really easy to use and calibrate and the flywheel is really smooth. In fact, i have been thinking about selling it as i bought it for some specific training last winter and doubt it will see much use again. Have uesd it about 15-20 times and it's in excellent condition. You're more than welcome to come and take a look. PM me if you're interested.
