Yes indeed Valverde is in the yellow after the first stage just like Lance Armstrong leading from the start.

When I let him beat me up Box I knew he would go onto bigger and better things :wink:

I watched him win, with delight, and thought of you, George ... But never mind V V going on to big things, when is your Tour debut? Lots of new names in this year, the Tour organisers are clearly looking for fresh (untainted) blood. IMHO, Race director Christian Prudhomme seems a good, firm man for the sort-out job, and the right man to lead ASO in taking on the turgid UCI - about time they got a kick up the ass. :shock:
